The event will take place on Saturday, 16 August 2025, starting at 12 noon. We will be celebrating the 138th anniversary of the birth of The Rt. Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, First National Hero of Jamaica, Founder of the UNIA, and one of the Fathers of Pan Africanism.
We will also be raising funds to support MMG Foundation’s Vocational Training Program for African Youths.
We will have an exhibition and displays of businesses and companies that specialize in the areas in which we train our students. So, we will have representatives who specialize in Solar Power Equipment, CCTV installation, Domestic Electrical Wiring, Carpentry, and Masonry.
We will also be launching the Marcus Mosiah Garvey Whirlwind Limited (MMGW LTD), which is the business arm of MMG Foundation. MMGW LTD will act as Contractors and Employment Agents for the students that we train.
